Do you like to see the places you read about? If so, join me for a quick look about historic Fort Reno, the setting of “Holding the Fort” and the rest of the Fort Reno Series.
I’ll be going back. What would you like to see more of in the next video? What questions do you have that we could get answered?
I love seeing the places I read about
Thanks, Eva. It’s a great place to visit.
This was a great little video! Could you show us the inside of the General’s house? It would be interesting to see how well the reality matches up to what I envisioned.
Great suggestions, Lisa. I’ll see what I can do! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this! I just finished Holding the Fort and it’s now one of my favorite books. I would love to visit Fort Reno someday!
They have some great volunteers there that would love to see you!
On Friday I visited Fort Reno on a family outing. In the visitor’s center they had this book for sale. I read it over the weekend and enjoyed it very much! Today I ordered the second book with prime! Ha! I hope to see Daniel and Louisa sometime in the future stories! I was pleasantly surprised by the faith elements….I was not expecting them. Thanks for writing this book.
Danna,
I’m so glad you enjoyed visiting the fort and reading the book! I love it when people are able to see the setting with their own eyes. By the way, there’s also a Fort Reno novella called “Bound and Determined” that goes with the series. You can buy it on ebook, or it’s printed in a collection called “Hearts Entwined”. And the third full-length book comes out in December, called “The Major’s Daughter.” You can guess who that’s about.
Thanks for taking the time to write! It was great hearing from you.
Thanks for informing me about the novella! I went and bought it just now.
