I so enjoyed reading about my birthplace, 1945. My mother retired from teaching at West Central on West 7 th Street in 1974. I grew up in Baxter Springs; married and moved to Tulsa where we raised 5children.

My daughter married an Edmond boy and graduated from Central State.

My grandparents had a lead and zinc mine on their property just across the state line in Oklahoma. I only saw the revenants of it, but did pick up rocks with lead and zinc when visiting the farm.

Thank you for a well written book and so many memories of my childhood.

Debra,
I'm so glad you found my books and enjoy them. I love learning new things about our history and sharing them. Thank you for recommending the books to your friends. It is the best thing you can do to help an author. I appreciate it! Thank you for taking the time to write.
Love,
Regina

I live in Utah. I was at the library the other week and came across your books. I started reading and fell in love with your books. You don’t swear, or cuss and how nice, not too have to skip a number of pages with the characters because of any embarrassing scenes. I will recommend your books to everyone I know. I love learning about the different areas of history in Oklahoma. Thank you so much and please keep up your writing. You are amazing!!!
