Visiting from Diane's place. That sign is a definite thumbs-up. I usually whimp-out with book lovers and just get them something they asked for or a gift card that they can use for reading.

Elisabeth, thanks for commenting! That sign is true, isn't it? I used to write while in the waiting room at my daughter's speech therapist's and I got several good character names from there.

This is my first time commenting. Hello from England! : ) I just want to say that I especially like the sign. I think that all scribblers ought to be issues with one of these at birth. What makes it REALLY funny is that it's true! : )

Thank you, Anne, for stopping by. I've seen that book, My Ideal Bookshelf, but I wasn't sure what it was.

Merry Christmas to you, too. Thanks for understanding and catering to our whimsical tastes.

Thanks for mentioning two of my products, Regina! I agree that it can be dicey giving an actual book to a book lover unless you are pretty well informed about their tastes. Because you can be they have strong opinions!
One that might be appreciated is a new book called My Ideal Bookshelf. Have you seen it? It's pretty in a way that makes you want to dip into it again and again, and it definitely stimulates ideas for new reading. This link goes to my shop, but it is widely available: http://www.bookloversgifts.net/collections/recent-additions/products/my-ideal-bookshelf
Merry Christmas to you and your family, and I hope you can sneak in some good reading time!

Cindy - Of course you have that mug. I should've known! And that teapot is adorable.

Keren - Wouldn't that embosser be nice? And it'd be beautiful on stationary, too.

I love the embosser. Since I let people borrow my books, I tend to write my name on them. With this it would look much better and nicer :)

I HAVE the Shakespearean insult mug on my desk at school! I use it every day! My, what good taste you have! ;)

Here's another item that makes my little bibliomaniac heart go pitter-pat--a literary teapot: http://acornonline.com/booklovers-personal-teapot/p/15011/
