It is too weird! I stumbled across a line somewhere that hinted at some strange goings-on, and the more I researched, the more I wished I hadn't! I would've never guessed!

Regina I love your writings but this one is "almost" too weird for me! lol

I understand the loss of a spouse and the life changing grief it brings but something tells me he might have been a little mentally challenged before his beautiful wife passed! And to think he found another wife that didn't have a problem tending to the corpse of his first wife. NO WAY!!

I styled my mom and my mom-in-law's hair when they passed but it before the funeral, not years later on my dining table!

Thank you for giving me something to think about during the long, dark hours when I can't sleep...really THANK YOU!! :P

Wow, this even outdoes Faulkner's fiction. There is some interesting history on Lincoln's corpse, but not this crazy of course. It is weird that a body can be preserved to that point that it will "keep" so well.

Get. out. My jaw dropped a little lower with every paragraph of this post. Really?? Brushing your husband's dead wife's hair ON YOUR DINING TABLE?!?! Can you even imagine the discussion that led to her placement? "Well, sweetie, what do you think about putting her...there?"

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Also, now I have "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" stuck in my head. :0)
