I love this and agree wholeheartedly that we throw around our offers to pray, and follow up with a murmured, “Lord, bless Susan.” or “Remember, Caroline, as she goes through whatever it is she’s going through.” God wants to know our desires and to hear our love for our friends. Thanks for giving me much to think about this Sunday morning.

Hi Regina, thanks so much for sharing this. Those are some very prayerfully thought out responses/requests for prayer. I love that it’s so specific and God-centered. Christina, I think that’s a great idea. I’d never have the courage to ask a Sunday school class or a Bible study group to pray these things.

Thank you for sharing. Another writer and I were discussing how to pray for fellow writers. We even talked about finding/starting a group where a small group of writers committed to pray for each other’s journey.
